We’re proud of our Columbia roots, and we strive to connect our people and our resources to the community. Many Columbia natives remember taking swimming lessons here or performing at Cottingham Theater. Our professors make it a priority to connect students to local service and professional opportunities. Equipping 社区 Organizations

We're a national leader in Trauma-Informed Practices (TIP)—educating students as well as organizations. 2023年6月, we designated the Alston Wilkes Society a TIP Agency, the first of its kind in South Carolina. We were honored to train them and look forward to serving them as they serve countless individuals. 

Caring for the Underserved

In partnership with Cooperative 健康, we've brought new access to quality healthcare to our campus and neighborhood. Columbia 社区 Family Practice provides primary and preventative services and behavioral health counseling for adult and pediatric patients. 请打电话给 803.888.1106 to schedule an appointment. 

Supporting Women in 业务

Headquartered at Columbia College, the Women's 业务 Center (WBC) of SC creates programs that further women business leaders throughout the state. The WBC hosts networking programs to encourage both undergraduate students and South Carolina women passionate about business.
